Meet Dr. Kimball Fuiks

 

Dr. Fuiks is committed to improving the lives of patients by providing exceptional, compassionate, and high-quality health care that promotes their dignity and well-being through a community-based setting with cutting-edge technology. Dr. Fuiks focuses on brain tumors, degenerative spinal disorders and spinal instrumentation. Since April 2001, Dr. Fuiks has been in private practice in Brookfield, WI. Prior to this, Dr. Fuiks was the Medical Director for 11 years at Mercy Neurosurgery Center in Janesville, WI.

 

Dr. Fuiks received his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College, followed by a Doctorate Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Fuiks completed his internship at the Duke University Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Fuiks attended the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill for neurology training, and the University of Tennessee for his neurosurgery residency and a fellowship in surgery of epilepsy and eloquent brain tumors.

 

Dr. Fuiks is currently a member of the following professional organizations: American Board of Neurological Society, American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS): Section on Disorders and Peripheral Nerves and Section on Neurotrauma and Critical Care, and Interurban Neurological Society.

 

Notably, Dr. Fuiks is a diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

*Theresa Fuiks, RN, BSN has been working as Dr. Fuiks’ Nurse and Office Coordinator for 30 years.
